Brian from Ceramictec did an incredible job of setting our new back-splash. He arrived early and got straight to work. He was meticulous about protecting our counter and floor with drop clothes. As he set to work, my overwhelming impression was “This guy really knows his stuff!”. Brian’s attention to detail was a pleasure to watch and as the job came together it was clear that Brian takes a huge amount of personal pride in his work. He listened carefully to our wants and needs and took the time to explain various options and make recommendations when questions arose. He left the area cleaner than when he arrived and the finished product was even better than we had imagined. As the homeowners for this recycled glass tile backsplash project, we are extremely pleased with both the Modwalls tile and (Ceramictec) Brian’s artistry in installing it. We realized just how important it was to have an installer experienced with glass tile after talking with a couple of other local installers who had never worked with glass. Just talking to Brian on the phone, we felt comfortable that he was a professional and had no more worries that it would turn out well. Dear Bill Vincent – Creative Tile,

I just wanted to let you know I am really happy with your recommendation for Brian at Ceramictec. I just had him do my hall bath and master bath because the main contractor was complaining about the different tile thicknesses, substrates, etc.. Brian didn’t have any trouble. Also, my hall bath was an inch and a half wider than the standard 5 foot. The previous tile was offset from the wall with special cove pieces. Brian said to add a second drywall and Hardi-backer layer over the existing walls to make the size standard and allow using standard bullnose to be flush with the walls. The contractor balked at that but in the end agreed that Brian’s idea was the best cure.

I have been a member of the John Bridges Tile Forum for only 3 months now and have been reading the postings (threads) like crazy. For those not familiar with this website – it is an online forum for tile setters to help others both in and out of the business to perfect the art of setting tiles.

As a bathroom renovator I have a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship and can say that in those pages Brian’s work is truly flawless and stands out at the top with only a select few. I have searched all his threads and the smallest details he includes are incredible.

I am excited to try and incorporate his designs and finishing details into my upcoming projects and only wish he set tile where I am. I believe Brian is a master artisan and a great educator – helping the tile setting industry in a whole raise it’s game.

We hired Ceramictec as a Ceramic Tile and Kerdi waterproofing contractor in 2008. Brian is a dependable, knowledgeable and a thorough professional.
